On March 6, 2024, a group of students from GITAM University participated in a Skill Development Program (SDP) organized by CSIR – Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT) in Bhubaneswar. The program focused on the essentials of patents and provided participants with valuable insights into the world of intellectual property rights. The Skill Development Program (SDP) on the Essentials of Patents provided participants with valuable knowledge and skills related to patenting and intellectual property rights. By attending the program, students from GITAM University gained a deeper understanding of the patenting process and its significance in fostering innovation and protecting inventions. The program was well-received by participants and contributed to their professional development in the field of intellectual property.
