On the 6th of April 2024, a seminar titled “IoT – From Sensor to Cloud” was conducted at VIT AP University, Vijayawada. The seminar aimed to delve into the various aspects of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, focusing on the journey of data from sensors to cloud platforms. Dr.Sambhudatta Nanda, an Assistant Professor at the School of Electronic Engineering, VIT AP University, served as the keynote speaker for the event. The seminar also delved into cloud computing and its pivotal role in IoT ecosystems. Dr. Nanda elucidated on the various cloud platforms and services available for storing, processing, and analyzing IoT data. He discussed the scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency offered by cloud solutions, making them indispensable for IoT deployments at scale.
