The first day of Orientation Programme NAVODAYA – 2026 held on 17 August 2026 welcomed freshers through lamp lighting, BPUT anthem, institutional introduction, bouquet presentations, and addresses by the Principal and CEO. The programme featured insightful talks by Dr. Subhashis Das, MD. Ardent Steel and Chief Guest Dr. M.K. Mohanty, VC, North Odisha University followed by felicitation and engaging fun games for freshers.
